Abstract
The high-voltage auxiliary power system is an important component of traditional power plants. The reasonable configuration and setting calculation of the auxiliary power system protection are key and important factors to ensure the correct operation of relay protection and improve the production level of power plants. This paper combines the traditional high-voltage auxiliary power system of power plants with the new solar thermal power plant, introduces the scheme of high-voltage auxiliary power system, and briefly describes the causes, types, characteristics, and consequences of faults in the high-voltage auxiliary power system. Simplified algorithms are used to analyze and calculate the faults of the highvoltage auxiliary power bus and the feeder of the high-voltage auxiliary power system. At present, the high-voltage auxiliary power system for new solar thermal power plants is relatively rare in the operation of new solar thermal power plants at home and abroad, and the paper has certain reference value.
