Abstract
This article delves into the technical essentials of porting and developing CSI interface camera drivers in embedded Linux systems. It begins by comprehensively and deeply exploring the principles of camera controller driver under the V4L2 video capture framework. Subsequently, the article elaborately describes the design strategies of camera drivers. Following that, successful porting of the OV2640 camera with CSI interface was achieved on the NXP i.MX6ULL development board, and image capture and video acquisition tasks were smoothly executed. Through careful examination of image attributes, it was confirmed that the captured images fully met the predetermined performance standards.
