Abstract
Wind power generation has emerged as a pivotal player in the global transition towards sustainable energy sources, garnering attention due to its renewable nature and widespread availability. However, the inherent variability of wind speed and other unstable factors in wind energy generation give rise to fluctuations in voltage and voltage flicker, significantly impacting the stability and quality of the electricity grid. This comprehensive analysis delves into the origins of voltage fluctuations and flicker induced by wind power generation, elucidating their detrimental effects on grid reliability. Moreover, it scrutinizes existing methods for detecting and mitigating these voltage issues, evaluating their efficacy and suitability across diverse environmental contexts. As wind power continues to evolve, this study also offers insights into future trends and technological advancements in wind power generation. By addressing the challenges posed by voltage fluctuations and flicker, this research contributes to the optimization of wind energy integration into the grid, fostering sustainable development in the renewable energy sector.
