Abstract
This paper mainly designs traffic lights for intersections and crosswalk. In order to ensure traffic safety and order and reduce the occurrence of traffic accidents, it is necessary to design a traffic light control system based on PLC control at traffic intersections. Because the PLC control system is easy to modify, easy to operate and easy to use, this paper comprehensively uses Mitsubishi PLC timer instruction, counter instruction, comparison instruction, touch screen, etc., to realize the control program design of traffic signal lights. The system is not only simple and practical, cost-effective and easy to repair, but also can automatically control of traffic lights, and the results show that the program can stably and reliably achieve dual mode control of intersection traffic lights and crosswalk traffic lights.
