Abstract
A new apparatus for determining particle size distribution in size range of 0.31 168pm by laser forward scattering is presented. Advanced FAM (Fraunhofer and Mie) method permits accurate measurement. Conventional methods in particles sizing for solving linear system can not be used in this problem, because the matrix is ill-conditioned and also the low resolution annular diode detector. This problem may be solved with linear CCD (Charge Coupled Device) and refined inversion techniques.
