Abstract
Photoacoustic FT-IR spectroscopy was used to determine the composition of mixtures of kaolin with silica or KBr, using a linear relationship between the reciprocals of band intensity and analyte concentration. The error associated with the method is about 12% for kaolin concentrations between 33 and 80%.
