Abstract
A new method to produce an interference depth-lateral image of skin tissue without axial-lateral scanning with a 20 ms image acquisition time using grating-generated interference microscopy is demonstrated. The depth scan of 1.5 mm and the transversal coordinate image about 0.3 mm of the skin tissue with a depth resolution of 17 micrometers , and a sensitivity of up to -100 dB are achieved using 30 mw from mode locked Ti:sapphire laser at (lambda) equals 800 nm.
