Abstract
During the attendance of the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau comprehensive scientific survey which held by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the survey were made in the plateau swamp in the contiguous area of Gansu, Qinghai and Sichuan Provinces. There are more than 4,900 Km2 of swamp in this area, 96% of it is peat swamp.
