The possibility for using geostationary satellite signals to determine hydrometeors parameters has been examined.
The method description and experimental results from the analysis of main forms of hydrometeors such us clouds, rainand
snow-falls are presented. Instantaneous and average spectra are shown. The conclusions about the environmental
safety and possibility of extensive use of the method have been made. This method is applicable to warning of different
hazardous events.
