Abstract
Compared to glass optics, differences in the materials, configurations and manufacturing processes of molded plastic optics lead to differences in the approach to their design and analysis. This paper discusses the differences in tolerances and in tolerance analysis between molded plastic optic and conventional glass optic systems.
