Abstract

The all-optical matching system is the core part of the photonic firewall. Current matching systems only support the matching for a specific target sequence. In a real environment, multiple-target matching is necessary and the matching method only needs to judge if the target appears in the concerned field. We proposed an efficient multi-target matching method. A new matching sequence is constructed by combining multiple target sequences. The proposed multi-target matching method is verified on the serial matching system developed for the on-off keying (OOK) modulation format. The simulation platform is constructed by the software of VPItransmissionMaker. Simulation results show that multi-target matching has been successfully achieved at the data rate of 100 Gbps for the OOK modulation format with two target sequences.
