CBM (Compressed Baryonic Matter) is a future experiment at the FAIR facility. This detector will be dedicated to study the properties of hot and dense matter created during collisions of heavy ions. One of method applied to such studies is femtoscopy. Femtoscopy is a technique that uses two-particle correlations to get information about spatio-temporal size of the source that emits them. Two particle-correlations are very sensitive to the detector effects, therefore they might be used to optimize the structure of the detector and algorithms used for reconstruction of data. This paper discuss the performance of the CBM experiment in context of femtsocopic measurements. The document describes three main topics: software used for analysis, the criteria of data selection, and the precision of the femtoscopic measurements of π −π − pairs in CBM.

Multi-Purpose Detector (MPD) is a part of Nuclotron-based Ion Collider fAcility (NICA) located in Dubna, Russia. For full functionality, the MPD needs an additional trigger system for off-beam calibration of MPD subdetectors and for rejection of cosmic ray particles (mainly muons). The system could also be useful for astrophysics observations of cosmic showers initiated by high energy primary particles. The consortium NICA-PL comprised of several Polish scientific institutions has been formed to define goals and basic assumptions for MPD Cosmic Ray Detector (MCORD). This article describes the early stage design of the MCORD detector based on plastic scintillators with silicon photomultiplier photodetectors for scintillation readout and electronic system based on MicroTCA crate. Plans for simulations of MCORD detector performance are also presented.
Femtoscopy is a tool to study the space-time evolution of hot and dense matter during high energy collision by using two-particle correlations. The femtoscopic and flow measurements at RHIC and LHC energies are well reproduced by the hydrodynamics models that contains equation of state (EoS) with crossover type transition from Quark-Gluon Plasma to hadron gas phase. Similar studies where performed at AGS and SPS accelerators and was performed in Beam Energy Scan (BES) program at Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider for exploring phase diagram of QCD matter.
I present the femtoscopic observables calculated for Au-Au collisions at √sNN = 7:7 - 62:4 GeV calculated from viscous hydro + cascade model vHLLE+UrQMD with two types of EoSs - one that correspond to 1st order phase transition (PT) and second that correspond to crossover PT. I also discuss perspectives of femtoscopic measurements at NICA energy scale √sNN = 4 - 11 GeV.1
