A novel all-fiber compensation network with three couplers of intensity-modulated optical fiber sensors is presented. The compensation network can resist the fluctuation of optical sources, the variation of fiber transmission losses, and the drift of optoelectrical receivers and amplifiers. The influence on the measurement error of the variation of the characteristic parameter is demonstrated, and an optimum system for the network is designed. Analytical results are presented.
