Abstract
Transmission lines are an important part of the power system, and their stable operation is crucial for safeguarding economic development and social life. With China's economic and social development, the demand for tower replacement rises year by year, but at present, the towers overall are put down manually, which is extremely dangerous and unstable, and there is an urgent need to design a remotely controllable mechanized device for tower leg cutting.[1][2] In view of the above situation, this paper designs a new type of remote tower leg cutting device that innovatively adopts split structure, analyzes the performance of the device through simulation and experimental research, and researches its application in practical situations.
