Abstract
This article aims to comprehensively explore the challenges and limitations faced by train-assisted positioning in urban rail transit. It begins by introducing the definition, roles, and impacts of urban rail transit systems, emphasizing their crucial role in addressing traffic congestion, urban planning, and economic development. The key issues related to train-assisted positioning are discussed, emphasizing the challenges encountered in positioning within urban rail transit. Subsequently, various train-assisted positioning technologies are extensively categorized and analyzed, including satellite navigation, inertial navigation, and wireless communication. The article emphasizes the applications of these technologies to ensure high-precision positioning of trains, enhancing the operational safety and efficiency of urban rail transit systems, and laying the foundation for the sustainable development of future urban transportation.
