Farmland protection compensation policy is based on environmental protection and mobilizes farmers' enthusiasm to protect the ecological environment through economic incentives. Based on the survey data of farmers, this article analyzes the impact of farmland protection compensation policies on the household income, household expenditures, labor supply and non-agricultural labor transfer of the interviewed farmers. Studies have shown that the implementation of farmland protection compensation policies can significantly increase the per capita income and per capita expenditure of beneficiary farmers. Farmland protection compensation policies can increase the input of beneficiary farmers’ families in agricultural labor and reduce the transfer of non-agricultural labor from beneficiary farmers’ families. The purpose of farmland environmental protection is to encourage relevant stakeholders to cherish and rationally use the land, and to ensure the sustainable and reasonable use of the ecological environment
