As a newly developed technology, virtual reality technology has been widely used in psychological therapy in many fields due to its characteristics of immersion, interaction, imagination and so on. Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is due to the aversion to directly experience, witness or repeatedly exposed to the details of a potential traumatic event, such as war, major accidents, etc., which is the most important cause of its outbreak. PTSD seriously harm the physical and mental health of individuals, early and timely intervention is particularly critical. It was found that virtual reality (VR) exposure therapy combined with traditional exposure therapy had a significant clinical effect on PTSD. To explore the application of virtual reality exposure therapy in PTSD.
